Job Description

As a Procurement Strategy and Development Advisor, you will provide specialist procurement advice to managers and operational colleagues, supporting efficient and compliant procurement activity across NRW.

You will analyse expenditure, contract activity and other information to identify cost‑improvement opportunities within Category spend and Delivery Plans, and produce clear management information to support decision‑making.

You will help develop Supplier Development and Relationship Management by building strong stakeholder relationships and promoting collaborative working. You will also support the delivery of e‑Procurement and contract‑management solutions, including contributing to strategy development, process improvements and staff training.

You will undertake business and market analysis to inform Category teams and influence the adoption of procurement policies and processes aligned with organisational and environmental priorities. You will promote revised business processes and help embed the benefits of Supplier Development, Relationship Management and e‑Procurement across NRW.

As an organisation we support flexible working. You will be contracted to the nearest NRW office to your home and a suitable hybrid working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Any regular face to face meetings or training will be planned in advance.
