Your new company
We are currently looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker to work within Bridgend Council's Adult Learning Disabilities Team, on a full-time rolling contract. Working within the team, you will manage an allocated caseload to achieve positive outcomes for adults with a Learning Disability. You will offer advice and support to adults who need support to maintain their independence and wellbeing and help to achieve their agreed outcomes, in addition to supporting carers in their own right.
Your new role
As a full-time member of the team, you have the opportunity to work on a hybrid working model, including 3 days from the office and 2 days from home. For people with identified eligible needs, you will develop collaboratively with people, strength-based plans of care and support in partnership with other relevant professionals; reviewing and evaluating those plans to ensure they support what matters to people.
What you'll need to succeed
- Social Work degree
- Full UK driving licence
- Registered with Social Care Wales
