We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning & Performance Manager to join Cats Protection until the end of 2021. This fixed-term role will play a leading part in shaping how we successfully translate our new strategy into reality.

Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity with a nationwide network of centres, volunteer-run branches and charity shops. During 2019 our 1,000 staff and over 11,000 volunteers helped around 191,000 cats and kittens, an average of more than 520 per day.

Working closely with the Head of Strategy, Planning & Insight, and key senior stakeholders across the organisation you will lead the design and implementation of an improved planning, budgeting and performance monitoring process at Cats Protection. This role will also lead the development of Cats Protection’s corporate performance monitoring framework to help us track delivery of our new strategy. You will also coordinate the production, collation and analysis of quarterly reports from Directorates and the timely production of quarterly reports to EMT and the Board of Trustees.

The successful candidate will be educated to a degree level standard and should be able to demonstrate experience of developing and implementing planning and budgeting processes and corporate performance management frameworks, preferably in a charity setting. You will have excellent written, communication, organisational and planning skills. You will also have the ability to work collaboratively with various teams across the organisation and to build and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of people and functions.

Please note, the interview process for this role will include a competency based interview with a presentation task.
