Job Opportunity: Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager (Temporary Contract)

Location: Poulton, Lancashire
Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Hourly Rate: £16.51 - £18.16 per hour
Contract Duration: Ongoing until at least June 2024
Are you passionate about providing excellent housing services to support and enhance the lives of residents? We are currently seeking a dedicated Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager to join our team in Poulton.
Responsibilities:

  • Scheme Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our sheltered housing scheme, ensuring the well-being and safety of residents.
  • Tenant Support: Provide personalised support to residents, assisting with their needs, concerns, and enquiries.
  • Community Engagement: Foster a sense of community within the scheme, organising social activities and events.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with external agencies, local authorities, and other stakeholders to enhance the quality of life for residents.
    • Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in housing management or a related field is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Empathy: Compassion and understanding when dealing with residents' needs.
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to manage schedules, appointments, and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and adaptability to address unexpected situations.
    • Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualifications in housing management or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in sheltered housing management.
