Your new role
The successful candidate will provide support to service users in a safe environment. They will work closely with people suffering from drug and alcohol addiction, providing clients with support from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey. They will do so by providing screenings, assessments, psychosocial interventions, recovery planning and onward referrals. Other responsibilities will include 1 to 1 key work, POD and group work and clinical interventions.

What you'll need to succeed

• Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field.
• Prescribing/Opiate experience within a drug and alcohol environment
• Experience with needle exchange
• Teamwork skills
• Ability to navigate a challenging situation
• Post subject to enhanced DBS check

What you'll get in return
