Hays are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Production System Analyst to join our client on an ongoing long-term temporary assignment for an approximate duration of 12 months.

Location: Oxford
Assignment type: Temporary, ongoing basis where you will be engaged via Hays
Working environment: Office-based
Hours per week: Rotational Shift Pattern: 06:30-16:15/16:15-02:00
Pay type: Competitive hourly pay rate

Your new role -

As the Production System Analyst, you will be responsible for steering orders through the production process, managing and controlling the relevant systems to support production volume and time quality targets.

Your role will be to have a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the order control production system, logic, settings and the parameterisation, as well as operate the interface between order control and the production system.

You will provide data analytical support for all production technologies.

Part of your remit will include understanding and operating as the interface between the process chains of vehicle orders and parts supply processes.

Communicate on intervention and deviation topics at a high level whilst operating as the interface to the production system.

You will obtain knowledge and understanding to support the development of the order steering function.


What you'll need to succeed -

  • Educated to degree level (Industrial engineering, Production or Business Management desirable).
  • Strong understanding of production systems (raw material to despatch of finished vehicles) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Manufacturing Production Process is advantageous.
  • Proficient with IT Systems.
  • A strong communicator with good management skills and an aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Experience with Data analytics - PowerBI.
  • Experience using SQL or visualisation tools is beneficial.
  • Systems control experience.
  • Production knowledge, able to understand how systems drive the process (Input/output production).
