The role

This role can be based at any of our locations/sites nationally

The role

Support continuous improvement and transformation to deliver a reduction in the emissions produced by the DLG Auto Services business by implementing a series of change projects and completing business investment cases to allow a test learn and adapt methodology

Scope, plan and deliver the projects to meet an agreed set of business needs, within agreed parameters of time, cost, quality and regulatory requirements

Who youll be working with

Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, and working closely with the Sustainability group, working to deliver an engaging plan to implement a series of initiatives

Key Accountabilities

Successfully communicating with DLG business colleagues and external suppliers to promote innovation and positive change

Partner with all key stakeholders to identify site improvements through sharing recognised standard methodology and implementing standardisation.

Build a training and awareness plan for the business

Build and maintain standard operating procedures across all areas to reflect the changes made

Support expert delivery of training on new/revised equipment and repair processes where appropriate that reduces emissions

Provide high level learning activities through using multiple communication channels and engaging at all levels of the business

Actively work as part of a technical team to understand business opportunities and analyse issues to support improved site performance in all areas.

Ensure change, once delivered, is embedded, standardised, sustained and continues to deliver performance and benefits.

Identify, own and lead the risks involved in running our business appropriate to the role, in line with the company risk framework.

Technical Competencies & Behaviours

Previous experience in deploying project management initiatives and rollout activities within a multi-site structure

Experience of executing technical change projects within a body shop environment.

Good understanding of the subject area of project management and the tools and processes involved.

Facilitation and training skills, including the delivery of formal and informal presentations.

Strong communication & influencing skills using a range of methods

Good Microsoft PC skills

Qualification and Requirements

Passion for the plant is a must

Project Management (PRINCE2, APMP and / or Agile ): including understanding business cases, risk and issue management, planning and appropriate use of tools and methodologies would be a significant advantage, however we would look to train and invest in the right candidate
