The BMA`s Corporate Development Directorate is accountable for association wide activities that focus on the reputation and culture of the BMA. We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Development Support Officer to join the busy team.

This is a part time opportunity working 20 hours per week.

In your new role you will:

support the directorate in its CSER and wellbeing activities

provide administration support to DocHealth; a confidential, not for profit, psychotherapeutic consultation service for all doctors.

ensure the smooth running and administration (including collating and dispatching panel agendas and papers, coordinating arrangements for meetings including room bookings, catering requirements etc

be developing draft minutes, recording actions

contribute to the development of communications with members and stakeholders, as well as research and drafting of written papers and reports on corporate development remits

be working cross-organisationally with colleagues in other directorates.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

excellent customer service skills

experience in carrying out administrative duties including preparing agendas and planning meetings

excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities at once

ability to grasp new concepts and processes quickly

excellent written and oral communication skills
