Social Work Job - Review/Assessments Team, Coventry

Coventry Council are recruiting 3 social workers to join their Adult assessment team, paying up to £34 ph.

Coventry City Council are looking to recruit 3 highly experienced Social Workers to work within their Review / Assessment teams. This is a great opportunity for someone that wants to develop their skills within a supportive and expanding team.
Your new role
Coventry are looking for 3 experienced adult social workers to work within our adult services provision, essentially undertaking review case work as well as completing assessments, support planning, safeguarding enquiries and reviews. As an experienced Social Worker, you will be working with adults with a range of disabilities and complex needs, and their carers. You will also have extensive knowledge of social work practice and legislation, including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005, a good understanding of personalisation and direct payments and excellent assessment and analysis skills.
This role will pay up to £34.00 per hour depending on experience, on an ongoing contract. JD is available upon request.

Working Hours: 8:30am - 5pm (Mon - Thurs) and 8:30am - 4:30pm (Friday), but for the right worker, we are happy to offer flexitime as long as they are covering workload

Hybrid Working: You will be required to attend the office for meetings Friargate - Floor 8. Coventry Council are sensitive in allocating cases depending on the candidate's locality.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will require a Social Work Degree, and it is also essential that you have a current professional registration with Social Work England. 1 year post qualified experience is essential.
