Hays Education are looking for a SEND Teacher to join one of our lovely SEND schools based in Rugby.
Hays are large Education Recruitment Agency who specialise in placing Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Nursery Practitioners and SEND Support staff in their ideal roles across many educational settings.
Your new role
Location: Rugby
Pay: £180 - £230 per day
Start: Immediate start
(Temp - Perm)
You will be delivering all the subjects across the curriculum (except PE). Whilst it is a KS4 class, due to their needs they are working at or towards Entry Level 1 (approximately Year 1/2 mainstream).
• You will be required to plan, deliver and assess and will receive PPA accordingly.
• You will be responsible for teaching small class sizes of around 6-10 students
• you will have additional support in the class from support staff
Resilience, passion for working with children with SEND, and reliability are essentials!
What you'll need to succeed
Must have QTS
• Must have experience working with SEND and complex needs
• SLD/Complex Special Needs experience within a school or educational settings
