Year 2 Class Teacher Job from Easter

Your new company
Hays are recruiting on behalf of a mainstream, two form entry primary school in Coventry. The school is looking for a Year 2 teacher to start after Easter until the end of the academic year. The school is rated OFSTED Good and has an excellent reputation locally. The school is conveniently located and accessible via car or public transport.

Your new role
This role is full-time, 5 days per week on a long-term temporary basis. Responsibilities will include:

  • Lesson planning and classroom preparation
  • Delivering engaging lessons
  • Assessment and marking
  • Attending staff meetings
  • Managing pupil behaviour


    • What you'll need to succeed
    The successful applicant will have a passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference. Please apply if you have obtained, or are working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Recent teaching experience (including training placements) is essential, preferably within the last 3 years.
