About the Role

We are making positive, transformational changes at OS as we embark on an ambitious growth strategy, we remain at the heart of providing trusted and innovative location data and services across GB and were looking to recruit a Head of Geospatial Data Platforms.

This exciting, newly created role will see you responsible for leading our Geospatial Data Platform Commercial business in order to build the proposition focussed on developing data management frameworks and foundations for data analytics in line with our agreed strategy.

You will be leading all aspects of the new business development, pipeline management, commercial business models and focused go to market strategies. As OS continue to win new business in international markets it is critical the Head of Geospatial Data Platforms plays a leading role in the building of a global brand presence leveraging and enhancing the reputation of OS internationally.

If you have experience of working within a global business and creating a substantial market presence that translates into ROI and youre a credible leader with a proven background in creating and implementing long term, growth strategies then this could be a fantastic opportunity to add real value to our business.

The Head of Geospatial Solutions will:

Execute the Geospatial Data Platform Commercial Strategy through delivery of a targeted growth plan

Provide competitor analysis and develop authoritative market insight.

Develop content and delivery partners strategic industry relationships and plans necessary to assist with the execution of the strategy

Build the organisational capability and capacity to execute the strategy.

Own the development of compelling value propositions, in conjunction with the propositions and innovations function.

Development of compelling and winning proposals, meeting OS commercial expectations

Drive go to market strategies and support prioritisation of the pipeline to maximise success

Execute contracts to the agreed profitability and customer expectations

Create and embed a high performance-oriented team with a culture of personal accountability, collaboration and shared success with an absolute focus on customer.

What were looking for:

Proven, dynamic business leader who can drive the rapid expansion of the business in Great Britain and internationally. She/he should bring prior experience of solution based approach and designing and implementing a growth strategy in a relevant technology, or B2B service-led business.

Experienced in operating commercial models including aaS, subscription, transaction based approach and similar B2B modls

Knowledge of a range of platforms and vendors relevant for the development of a data analytics capability

Experience in operating in a complex data exchange environment where solutions are developed and crafted

Proven track record of P&L delivery and of a track record in sales growth, business development, delivering commercial results and building a high-performance commercial team.

Inspirational and credible leader with a proven background in creating and implementing long term, growth strategies and translating these into actionable plans and roadmaps to deliver the growth of profitable businesses.
