English Teacher role available at Secondary School in Croydon

English teaching role in Borough of Croydon, Secondary School
Rate: £180 - £240 per day depending on experience.
Contract: temporary on going till the end of the academic year
Start: ASAP

Your new company
Ofsted rated 'good' Secondary School based in The Borough of Croydon are looking for a strong, experienced, and qualified teacher of English who can deliver English literature lessons to KS3, KS4 and KS5. You will have the opportunity to work with an already highly reputable school and join a well-organised English department with supportive colleagues to help you on a day-to-day basis.
This position is to start ASAP and last until the end of the academic year.
Your new role
Starting ASAP, you will be responsible for teaching English across KS3/KS4/ KS5. As this is a long-term assignment, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils' work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom.
This role will also require you to ensure all behaviour is appropriate, and that pupils are achieving to the best of their ability. As this is a long-term position, you will also be required to attend parents' evenings and other school functions.
You will join an English department alongside with other English teachers.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experience of teaching English across all key stages. You must be available to start ASAP and ideally be able to work through to July 2024, with a real passion and drive to provide a high quality of teaching and therefore contribute to the overall success of the department.
