Job Opportunity: Lead SEND Teacher at an Alternative Provision for children with SEMH

About the Job:

As the Lead SEND Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and engaging learning experience for our students. You will work closely with our dedicated team to develop tailored learning plans, foster a supportive classroom environment, and promote social and emotional well-being. Your passion for teaching and commitment to individualised learning will be key to helping our students thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pastoral care of group of pupils
2. Curriculum design, access and delivery
3. Managing professional responsibilities
4. Subject leadership

About You:

Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with students with SEND, preferably in an alternative provision or special school setting.
Knowledge of relevant SEND legislation and best practices.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Resilience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for making a difference.
