Join our newly created Donor Experience directorate, and you will experience unparalleled opportunities to translate your boldest ideas into tangible results – all while being supported in the friendliest and most progressive workplace imaginable.

We are seeking an Assistant Director to take the lead in how to we connect with our donors via direct marketing and contact centre engagement. Juggling multiple priorities, you will take the lead on all direct channel activities including direct mail, email, text messages, in-app messaging and social platforms. Seeing to it that a consistently high-quality of content is being shaped and delivered, you will also manage outsourced and 3rd party businesses. You will put the donor at the heart of every experience, identifying ways in which the effectiveness of these channels can be enhanced. With a close eye on emerging trends and platforms, you will champion any technology improvements that need to be made, and overseeing the management of customer comments and complaints, you will be an advocate for continuous improvement.

This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact on an ambitious department who are keen to succeed. To thrive in our team, you will have a proven track record in a senior leadership role, and you bring a customer focus to every project and challenge. Connecting with people from all walks of life, you will be able to adapt to meet the needs of those from different backgrounds and faiths. You enjoy coming up with engaging solutions to complex challenges.

We will support you with a desirable benefits package that includes a competitive NHS pension, generous annual leave and flexible working options. Then we’ll add in sector-leading development opportunities and the option to apply for funding for personal development, so that your skills always match your ambitions. We will support your work/life balance with the option to apply for this role as a job-share, in a variety of locations or travel whilst being a home worker.

Join our ambitious senior leadership colleagues, and you can help us build an even more loyal donor base by making the donor experience everything it should be.
