What we're looking for:

Its an exciting time to be joining our HR function; were relaunching our People Strategy, and as a result many of our new initiatives will be delivered more formally within our programme/project management framework. As such were looking for a HR Project Manager to join the team.

Youll have substantial experience delivering both technical and non-technical programmes and projects within Agile and Waterfall frameworks. Youll possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring end user outcomes form a considered part of decision making.

Who you'll be working with:

Youll be joining a team of established Project Managers and technical change experts. Well require you to work across DLG with colleagues from numerous functions to deliver some critical projects, and act in an advisory capacity, sharing your project/programme management expertise with the wider HR community too.

What you'll be doing:

Scope, plan, and deliver projects, to meet an agreed set of business needs and benefits, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality

Ensure projects evaluate the impacts of change on the operating model (process, governance, people, organisation, location, systems, data) and addresses the impact effectively through deployment of relevant tools and skills e.g. stakeholder mapping, communications, training, process design, organisational design

Work within agreed standards and framework to contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of Business Change approaches, methods and training

Create effective, informed and highly motivated teams focused on delivering the benefits of the project through working with key stakeholders, SMEs, and other programmes/projects and teams to ensure cross-team cooperation and coordination

Identify, own and manage the risks involved in running our business appropriate to own role, in line with the DLG risk framework and meet all the ethical, legal, risk and compliance requirements of the organisation

Act in an advisory and consultancy capacity - provide Project Management guidance, expertise, and best practices to enable others to deliver non-technical projects and pieces of work effectively within the DLG change framework
