This is a unique opportunity to make a big impact, creating frameworks that enhance and develop Mental Health nursing and deliver clinical practice excellence.   As one of the best nurses in your field, youll oversee nursing assessments, formulations and interventions, coaching and upskilling our teams, including our Mental Health Practice Leads (nurses) and front line Care and Support Operational teams.  Youll be enhancing their delivery of care, ensuring all practice is provided within legal, professional and ethical boundaries including the Treatment of Disease, Disorder and Injury.  Youll also oversee medication management including de-prescribing and leading on STOMP as well as embedding new interventions and practices aligned to our Living Independently Feeling Enabled support practice model.

Youll report to Karen, our Head of Transforming Care who has a wealth of experience from her clinical and operational roles working across the NHS, Social Care and private sector.  Shes also a dual registered nurse and qualified in Applied Behavioural Analysis.  Outside of work youll find her keeping fit in dance aerobics classes, singing in a choir (which shes just recently joined) and discussing the latest book as a member of a book club (we wonder what theyre reading at the moment?).
