The BMA is looking to recruit a Procurement Assistant to work in a small team providing procurement services and advice across the whole organisation with a special focus on IT products and services.

Your role:

-support the procurement manager to effectively prioritise purchase order requests, contracts and sourcing activities

-will involve managing the end to end procurement cycle including drafting tender documentation, supplier vetting, contact negotiation and relationship management.

The ideal candidate will

-be very organized with strong analytical skills

-have a proactive approach to problem solving and multi-tasking

-be skillful in managing stakeholder relationships

-be either CIPS qualified or studying toward the CIPS qualification,

-have experience of contract law, be numerate, articulate and have an eye for detail.

In return you will receive:
