Triodos Bank is proud of its culture, ethos and ability to make a positive change in society. It is important that candidates evidence a strong commitment to Triodos Bank’s core values of ethical sustainability and transparency, as well as the personal qualities to live these values. The successful candidate will operate with the highest integrity; demonstrate a deep understanding of the mission of Triodos Bank and willingness to take responsibility for safeguarding, representing and contributing to the development of that mission.

Responsible for business partnering, the role requires the ability to manage stakeholders across several different teams in the UK and NL, and to develop and expand networks both internally and externally. You will also be able to work to tight deadlines and deal with pressure, have good organisational skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of the business with credibility and friendly professionalism. Excellent, clear and concise written and oral communication skills are essential.

It is essential to have an appropriate accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). Financial planning and treasury management experience is also essential, preferably in a financial service, regulated environment. An ability to develop financial models, to capture the balance sheet, profitability, capital and liquidity drivers of the bank and optimise these, is important. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages, especially Excel, or the proven aptitude to acquire such skills, is therefore also important.

In view of the relatively small Finance team size, the role requires the ability to operate at both an organisational/strategic level and to undertake as well as oversee some detailed process tasks. It also requires a commercial approach, and a hunger and aptitude to understand and challenge the bank’s business model.
