About the role: Data is core to our business; recognising this, we are transforming towards a truly agile and data-centric organisation. In this role, you will join our expanding Information Architecture team responsible for the definition of data architectures, data models, options and solutions to meet business objectives. A team that is accountable for ensuring that the design and development of those solutions and capabilities are efficient, sustainable and fit-for-purpose for OS future business needs a future based on scaling-up to handle vast amounts of spatial data. Working with stakeholders from across the organisation, you will collaborate closely with a number of delivery teams in both the definition and realisation of architectural solutions. In your work you will benefit from collaboration with the brightest minds in OS, some of the best experts in the field. What were looking for: If youre interested in joining a team that lies at the heart of what OS is about, were looking for an individual that can demonstrate skills and experience in: Defining and implementing Data Architecture at a conceptual and logical level Hands-on experience of contemporary data technologies - SQL, XML, JSON, NoSQL, RDF Data modelling environments - Sparx, XML Spy, or similar Knowledge of delivering digital services using public cloud platforms and big data tech Collaborating with key business and technical stakeholders Knowledge of industry best practices for data architecture, software development processes and lifecycles The rewards: We want you to love what you do.
