An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Schroder'sPersonal Wealth Finance team. The role holder will support the Senior FinanceManager in managing the ICAAP and liquidity processes and frameworks for SPWalongside entity management reporting. This will require delivering against ourfull suite of internal and external (FCA) capital and regulatory reportingrequirements.

 

You’ll be assisting in the management of theRegulatory, Treasury and Liquidity team to provide analysis, insight andcontrol to effectively deliver liquidity and cash management responsibilitieswhilst ensuring that financial controls are developed and maintained to meetinternal and regulatory requirements.

 

Your responsibilities and accountabilities:

 

Capital & Liquidity

 

 * Support with themanagement of the Capital Management Framework including the production of theICAAP, capital forecasting and weekly/monthly MI.

 * Delivery ofplanning and forecasting activities relating to the cash management function,ensuring supply of inputs are proactively managed and outputs produced tonecessary quality and time standard

 * Regular reviewand monitoring of regulatory rules to ensure that the internal controlframework is fully aligned, and that associated documentation and processes areupdated to reflect changes.

 * Monitor cashbalances and report on the firm’s liquidity position (intra-day anddaily) and production of cash flow forecasting

 * Production ofmonthly liquidity MI for presentation to internal committees, includingmonitoring of early warning indicators

 * Production ofFCA Regulatory returns

 * Support forvarious ad hoc projects as and when required

 

Management Reporting

 

 * Preparation ofentity management accounts including variance analysis and production ofcommittee and Board papers

 * Support in thedevelopment of forecasts to support the financial plan and rolling forecasts

 * Support in theproduction and submission of Investment Company of Variable Capital (ICVC)statutory and regulatory reports

 * Analysis andreconciliation of data from multiple sourcing (e.g. Transfer Agency / GeneralLedger) on a monthly basis

 

Your skills and experience:

 

 * Knowledge of FCAliquidity regime applicable to investment firms i.e.

BIPRU 12

 * A solidunderstanding of Capital rules (CRD IV) and requirements governing Investmentfirms

 * Highly numeratewith experience in a financial / analytical discipline

 * Strong planningand organisational skills, specifically the ability to prioritise and processnumerous tasks simultaneously and deliver at pace to meet tight deadlines andwith a high degree of accuracy

 * Excellentorganisational, communication and numerical skills.

 * Ability to useown initiative, whilst also being a valuable team player.

 * Ability toproduce accurate work within agreed timescales/deadlines.

 * Personal driveand resilience to deal with work volumes

 * A continuousimprovement mind-set and a desire for personal development.

 * Part qualifiedaccountant or equivalent
