Youll be managing and documenting contractual specifications for the Maintenance function nationally. Youll lead the requirements gathering process, including remodelling/modernising existing specifications when contracts are due for renewal, and translating these into a clear specification for contractors to work within.

About our team
Youll be working as part of our fabulous team who are super passionate about delivering a first-class maintenance solution to our customers.  Our director Paul has worked here at Home Group almost 3 years now, having worked in contact centres and maintenance environments for the past 14 years. Outside of work Paul enjoys a hectic social life and when not cooking is planning his next trip with his wife Victoria!
 
You will be working for David who recently joined Home Group and has over 30 years experience in house construction and maintenance. When not cycling hes either up a mountain in the lakes or practicing and teaching various forms of meditation.  
 
When youll work
Its the teams unwritten rule that you attend the important appointments in life, be it your childs school play, your partners graduation, or to get your new fridge delivered. You can elect to fit these around your working day or use your flexi to take the time off. Our focus is on getting the job done, not your working hours!
 
About you
Youll be a true self starter, with indepth knowledge and understanding of contractual workings and conditions enabling the appropriate controls to be implemented to ensure success.
 
Youll have an understanding of contract preparation including standard and bespoke forms of contract and implementation and management of these contracts. You will support and advise colleagues on contractual matters, with strong skills to lead contractual, commercial and technical negotiations to clear outcome.
 
Here at Home Group we have invested heavily in our future and use current and up to date equipment. Youll be issued with the latest kit, which could include a Surface Pro and mobile. So it's really important to us that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe!)
