We have a fabulous opportunity for you to join our awesome team. Were responsible for keeping our customers safe with our robust Health & Safety and compliance procedures whilst ensuring great customer satisfaction. This post will be based from our Havant office but its a great €œOut and About€ role. Youll spend most days visiting customers in our properties.
 
About our team                                                                              
This is a new role in the South and is a new addition to our fabulous team. Youll be working alongside Nicol who is our Manager, and has worked here for just over a year. Nicol is based in Cumbria and in her spare time loves getting out in the lakes for walks with her family and little Shihpoo puppy Max. Nicol is supporting the newly founded team of Officers to make this a great satisfying career.
 
Nicol is supporting the newly founded team of Officers with regular travel around the regions. Nicol is always on the end of the phone for advice and support and wants to make this role a satisfying career.
 
The rest of the team are; Dawn who is based in Cumbria, Andy based in Peterborough, Ray and Paul in the North East and Will in Yorkshire. All love forming relationships with our customers and getting out and about in the community.  Were all super passionate about Health, Safety and compliance to ensure our customers are kept safe and have a nice place to live.
We dont just love to support our customers, were there for each other too!
 
Working hours
In order to meet the needs of our customers, we need to be flexible. This means youll work 37.5 hours a week over 5 days, Monday to Friday between 8am 6pm. As were asking you to be flexible for us, we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you meaning you can build up flexi-time for those appointments or family gatherings you dont want to miss!
 
About you
As an Estate Compliance Officer youll be responsible for the safety of our customers and staff. Youll be carrying out regular fire alarm and emergency lighting checks, as well as estate inspections of our communal areas and grounds. You dont need any experience of this, we have great staff on hand to give you a full induction and training to feel confident in your role. We wont drop you in at the deep end, well help you to understand how things work. Here at Home Group we have invested heavily in our future and use current and up to date equipment. Youll be issued with the latest kit, which includes personal safety devices, a Surface Pro and a mobile so it's really important to us that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe!)
 
As this is a community based role, you need to be able to drive, as well as having access to a car insured for business purposes. Dont worry, well pay you expenses to cover this use! Best of all youll have the chance to shape your own diary as youll likely spend around 3-4 days per week on the road, then working from our super friendly Havant office the rest of the time.
