Job Description

CHILDRENS SUPPORT WORKER - SOUTHEND

CHILDRENS SUPPORT WORKER - SOUTHEND - PERMANENT
Hays are proud to be supporting this local service providing therapeutic care for young people aged 12-17 who have suffered childhood trauma by recruiting passionate support workers.
This organisation believes in an integrated approach to care which allows them to tailor the care to each individual's needs. They are able to do this by bringing together different parts of care into one plan. They are:

  • Residential care
  • Education - specialist school when mainstream education is not appropriate.
  • Therapy
  • Aftercare - ongoing care after leaving to ensure their continued growth and progression.
  • You will receive a competitive annual rate of pay up to £25,116 (depending on experience) along with fantastic onboard training and guidance from management. This company is passionate about investing in you and your professional development by putting you forward for additional courses and training. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to start a career in children's social care or those looking to push themselves with further training.
To be considered for this position, you must have full unrestricted right to work in the UK. This client is unfortunately not offering sponsorships. While experience working with young people is not essential, it is desirable, however if you have experience in the social care and a desire to make a difference in young peoples' lives that will last a lifetime, please apply.
