Markets & Lending Delivery (MLD) forms part ofCommercial Banking Delivery, providing specialist operational post tradesupport across a wide range of Markets products.

 

We have new opportunities for Senior Analysts to join ourNetwork Management and Account Governance Team who are responsible formaintaining a golden source of accounts across all relevant legal entities toensure they have appropriate ownership and governance arrangements in place.

 

You'll be our central point of contact ensuring queriesare taken care of on a timely basis and support all activity for accountopenings and closing ensuring timely completion of process steps across thevalue chain.

 

You'll maintain positive relationships and engage withour external account providers and complete vital account opening and closingdocumentation.

 

You'll contribute to our bi-annual attestation process onall open accounts, ensuring account owners have adequate information availableto support the attestation process. Identify potential dormant accounts andinitiate account opening process if account(s) identified for closure.

 

You'll identify and deliver Continuous Improvementopportunities to increase efficiency of processes, and reduce end to enddelivery.

 

Accountabilities

 

 * Technicalknowledge of the post trade landscape, with knowledge of Markets clearing andsettlement activity.

 * Support allrelevant relationships within the Group ensuring MLD is working in partnership.

 * Seekopportunities for cost savings. Assist key partners with programme objectives,and support the implementation of change when required.

 * Act as a pointof reference providing support, guidance and product knowledge to colleagues ofall levels, ensuring that the recipient understands the nature of theinformation provided.

 * Ensure highlevel of administration, ensuring easy access to archived information. Ensureinformation is continually communicated and where necessary, escalation occursin a timely manner.

 * Encourage LBG‘Values and Behaviours’ within the role and the widerNetwork Management team.

 

Key Capabilities/ Knowledge:

 

 * Experience ofpost-trade operations and products conducted through MLD – bonds,foreign exchange, wholesale payments, SWIFT message types, collateralmanagement, custody and derivatives.

 * Goodorganisational skills and close attention to detail. Ability to work well underpressure and working to timescales. Tenacious approach to delivery withinternal LBG colleagues and external agent bank suppliers.

 * Goodinterpersonal skills and ability to influence colleagues in delivering tasksacross multiple departments. Proven ability to translate complex businessrequirements into a clear effective delivery.

 * In depthknowledge of Group policy, procedures and guidelines, quality standards and allglobal regulatory and statutory requirements. Knowledge of MS office systems– including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.

 * A demonstrableability to engage with senior partners at third parties and suppliers, alwayslooking for the best result for LBG, whilst ensuring that our relationships arenot compromised, whilst working in a professional manner.
