Cathcart Energy are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for onshore Wind Turbines in Cornwall.

The role will involve servicing and maintenance of Turbines on Wind Farms in England's rugged southwestern tip. The south coast dubbed the Cornish Riviera, you will need to be based in or near, with a travel time up to 30 - 40 minutes.

You will be working at height and need to be confident in that environment, but all appropriate training courses will be given if needed.

This role will primarily require an Electrical NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering with Hands On working experience.

If you have worked in the wind industry before this will be an advantage. It is ideal to have experience with heavy industrial equipment working in Electrical Maintenance.

Specifically, you will need to have experience with fault finding, 3 phase systems and electrical systems maintenance. It is also important to have knowledge of the health and safety regulations. If you have experience with PLCs and control systems that will also strengthen your application.
You should have a flexible attitude and are prepared to sometimes Remedy malfunctions outside normal working hours.

You will need to have the full UK driving licence for this role.

Must be fluent in English.
