About Human Centred Design (HCD)

 

You'll be joining the HCD team, which is a new team of200+ designers and researchers. HCD is formed of 9 different guilds, frominteraction design to storytellers and design researchers. The Service Designguild is one of the largest Service Design teams across the UK!


About the role


This role would sit in our Motor Finance area, which isreally exciting as there is so much chance to create products to help improvecustomer’s lives. You’ll work with service designers,researchers and engineers and find new challenges and understand what ourusers’ really need.

Your role will be integral in communicating thatunderstanding, and turning it into impact prototypes, posters, researchartefacts and campaigns within your team.

 

Be responsible for leading how that lab uses graphic andinteraction design to not just design the services of the future but generateintrigue and excitement about users and their needs; rethink users experienceof services from the ground up; and crafting and delivering ideas that improveour customer’s day to day prosperity and experience of Lloyds.

 

...and minimum experience background you'll need to apply

 

 * Highly significantexperience in crafting artefacts that help turn research into impact andintrigue, crafting prototypes that show the art of the future.

 * In depthexperience in designing, iterating and delivering experiences that help improvethe experience of using our services. Leading co-design workshops on features,artefacts and helping to rethink how we deliver impact across value streams.

 * Good all-rounddesign skills: our interaction designers work across physical and digitalformats and you'll thrive in working outside of your comfort zone.

 

Someone willing to mentor new team members and leadersand help use it to challenge what we believe about our work and problems. Welike people who come from a variety of backgrounds and welcome having a diverseteam.
