Want a Summary of the Role?

Your Full Stack Web Engineering role sits within our Group Analytics (GA)

team in the Chief Data Office (CDO). Group Analytics is the hub for

analytics and Business Intelligence within the Group. You will be helping us

build an innovative self-service reporting hub - the "BI Marketplace" (think

Amazon for BI) which will help the business unlock the potential of data and

analytics across Lloyds Banking Group.

So what am I responsible for as Web Engineer?

This is a new role for the Group Analytics team so you will have the

opportunity to establish the development patterns and principles of the team

in line with the Group’s development methodologies. You will be

responsible for building the BI Marketplace which is a web application that

provides a single point to consume data, reporting and analytics for all the

group.

What experience, skills and knowledge will I need to do this role?

You will be an experienced full stack web developer who is comfortable

developing both the front and back end of web applications in an agile

environment. We are really flexible on specific skills but any experience of

integrating Tableau and Power BI into web applications using their

respective API’s would be great. Knowledge of a modern web framework

such as Django, Flask, React.JS or Angular would be preferred as would

knowledge of containerisation (e.g. Docker).

This would be a great role if you……

 * Are passionate about web development and user experience

 * Understand the value of data and analytics

 * Would like a role where you skills are valued in a supportive environment
