Are you a qualified and experienced Supply Year 1 Teacher looking for a new job in a vibrant and diverse Primary School in Newham? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a friendly and supportive team at a Primary School in Newham.

Your new Primary School is a two-form entry school with a Nursery, serving a multicultural community in Manor Park. They are also part of a trust, a family of schools who work together to provide the best possible education for pupils. They have high expectations for all children and staff and are committed to providing a creative and engaging curriculum that inspires a love of learning.

As a Supply Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners and the national curriculum objectives
  • Assessing and reporting on pupils' progress and attainment
  • Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment that fosters pupils' well-being and behaviour
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to support pupils' learning and development
  • Participating in the school's professional development programme and contributing to the school's improvement plan

  • To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in Key Stage 1
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to raising standards
  • Excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills
  • A positive and flexible attitude and a willingness to learn and improve
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and a sense of humour
