Flexible Bank Support Coordinator

Newquay, Cornwall

Hourly rate from £9.26 to £9.95 depending on experience

Weekly Pay, Flexible Hours & Shifts

Working hours that suit my lifestyle. Thats when it hits home.

Have you been looking to earn some extra cash, while keeping to your current commitments? Now you can! Whats more, youll be making a difference! This is an exciting time to join Home Group one of the UKs Largest Housing providers and be part of our brilliant flexible bank. Youll be supporting our amazing customers, while picking and choosing the shifts you want to work.

Where you could work

Youll be helping our vulnerable customers in a variety of services in our shiny new Cornwall outreach service. You might find yourself supporting customers with physical disabilities, dementia, learning disabilities, autism or mental health, in a community based setting. Not only do we provide community outreach support, but we also hold group sessions, county wide drop-ins and an advice line!

Were looking for you to work in our Newquay services, but youll also have the option of working in many of our other services too, including Saltash or St Austell.

There is lots for you to do and get involved in, from supporting our customers to achieve their hopes and aspirations, working to bespoke care plans. Youll go home each day knowing that youve made an amazing difference to vulnerable peoples lives. How amazing is that!

One day you might be helping our customers to manage their finances or household tasks, the next you might be off to the seaside to facilitate a walking group! Rest assured that wherever you will be working, we will support you all the way!

About you

You thrive both on working with a range of vulnerable customers, who all have different support needs, as well as working with colleagues across different services!

Youll be flexible to work at short notice, as youll be the one picking your next shift. The great news is that youll be gaining loads of experience working in different services or locations. But we do need you to be a real people person!

Though youll have the heart of a Lion, youll sometimes need the skin of a Rhino, however they dont take away from the caring nature you display towards our customers.

You may already work with vulnerable adults or have done so in the past, however its not a deal-breaker if you havent. However to be brilliant, we do need you to have a caring attitude and the desire to learn and make a difference!

As this is a community based role, you will need to be able to drive, as well as having access to a car insured for business purposes. Dont worry, well pay you expenses from your base of work to cover this use!

How it works

Working on our bank, youll be able to pick and choose your shifts - from those available in your area. As busy as you are, you should be able to do this on the go via your mobile device!

Whats in it for you?

At Home Group our pay rates are based on Living Wage Foundation rate (definitely more than some organisations!) That means youll be paid a fair hourly rate for every hour that you work and your rate even includes a payment towards your holiday pay!

After you have been paid for your first shift, youll even get a chance to stretch your money further when you get access to our brilliant shopping discount scheme!

Youll even get access to our excellent learning portal to develop your skills further! Were sure you will find working for us brilliant, so if you want to stick around, youll be able to apply for all of our roles!

When you join, youll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you dont have a transferrable one.
