Registered Manager

Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw)

Starting Salary £25,000 to £30,000 dependent on experience.

On Call Shifts of £14.30 per shift

This means were not providing your traditional supported housing services, but rather trailblazing the way in delivering brilliant long term outcomes for vulnerable people through housing and care, living independently, feeling enabled! 

 

As a Registered Manager youll be leading our Supported Living Services in Batley and a small community service, which support adults with learning difficulties and autism. We are super proud that we provide brilliant support to enable as much independence as possible with a view to customers living more independently over time.

 

As a safeguarding lead, youll use your creative spark to help your team achieve and maintain high standards of support our customers deserve, keeping to regulatory standards.  As a subject matter expert youll develop and share your know how to ensure the high performance and quality assurance of your services as well as motivating your colleagues and making it a great place to work. Whats more, youll be working alongside our Client Service Manager on a daily basis. How amazing is that!

 

About our team

Youll be working alongside our fabulous team, who are super passionate about supporting customers to reach their goals and celebrating their achievements.  To us were not just a team were a €œwork family€. Our manager is Katina, who is the Operations Manager and has worked for home group for over 13 years. There are 14 of us in the team and we dont just love to support our customers, were there for each other too! We have a time to change a champion who can support you and super knowledgeable new models of care team as well as provide great learning and development opportunities for you within the organisation.

 

About you

You hold (well done this is a tough one!) - or are working towards - your Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or you might hold an equivalent qualification. You have a good understanding of relevant regulatory policies and procedures, including the fundamental standard regulations. 

 

You have loads of experience of partnership working, as well as having strong inter agency links within health and social care.  You're used to embedding a culture of strong communication and reflective practice. In addition to that, you lead, encourage and deliver an open, fair, transparent, supportive and challenging culture at all levels. 

 

We will support you to lead, manage and govern your team, assuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You support learning and innovation, as well as promoting an open and fair culture. You will ensure the competence of your team through a process of observation and assessment, coaching and directing as required. 

 

Its also important that you have excellent communication skills, IT skills and strong analytical skills too. So join us and lead a team which is doing things differently and spending more time making a real difference to vulnerable peoples lives. 

 

As this is a multi based role, you need to be able to drive, as well as having access to a car insured for business purposes. Dont worry, well pay you expenses to cover this use!

 

When you join, youll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you dont have a transferrable one.
