Our customers live in 147 bed spaces spread across a number of properties. We have customers based in shared houses and in their own self-contained tenancies. We assist them to maintain their accommodation and support them to achieve the outcomes outlined in their own individual support plans. Our team provide our customers with the €œhelping hand€ they need, and assist with some tasks to develop and maintain basic life skills and live independently.

Youll be working alongside our fabulous team, who are super passionate about supporting customers to reach their goals and celebrate their achievements. There are over 60 of us in the team! Our manager Liz has not worked at home group for very long, so knows what its like to be new here!

Liz is supported by a team of Client Services Managers - Nina, Kim, Judy, Emma Graeme, Marion and Dan. We dont just love to support our customers, were there for each other too, and we enjoy a good laugh whilst getting the job done! What you do need to know about us, is that we all have a bit of a sweet tooth and youll find a lot of cake and biscuits on the go around us!

Working hours

We support our customers Monday to Friday, and we tend to work between the hours of 08:30 and 17:30, but are open to you being flexible to fit in your 37.5 hours per week.

The good news is that we dont work evenings, weekends and bank holidays! We do need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend it on doing the things that matter to you!

About you

Youre passionate and motivated to help vulnerable people make positive and lasting changes to their lives. Youll impress us with your ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.

Ideally you will have some experience of working with vulnerable people, and may be familiar with safeguarding, risk assessments, confidentiality, support plans, alongside working collaboratively.

It would be amazing if you have worked in this type of environment before, however its your €œcan do€ positive attitude and enthusiasm that are critical to make this role a success. We can nurture your talent, just let us know in your cover letter why you have a passion for working here! We help change our customers lives for the better.

Youll play your part by assisting in the delivery of tasks that are based on our customers personal support plans, their needs and aspirations. Youll work alongside your colleagues and external agencies to achieve this. We empower our customers to develop the independent living skills they need to successfully move on. Together well make a difference!

To make sure that we keep our records straight, and customers safe, it's really important that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe!)

As this is a community based role, you need to be able to drive, as well as have access to a car insured for business purposes. Dont worry, well pay you expenses to cover this use!

Whats in it for you?

Theres lots!

Including: competitive salaries, 25 days paid holiday a year rising by 1 day per year up to 30 days, with the ability to purchase an extra 5 days, a contributory occupational money-purchase pension scheme with life insurance, salary sacrifice schemes including cycle, car, and technology vouchers, heavily discounted AA membership, gyms and savings on high street stores, holidays and restaurants amongst many others.

When you join, youll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you dont have a transferrable one.
