The Office of Rail and Road (ORR) is seeking to appoint a new Associate Director, Human Resources (Head of Profession) who will play a lead role in refreshing, agreeing and delivering the ORRs people strategy. Working with senior colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation they will be a catalyst for ensuring that all colleagues have the HR support and advice they need to deliver their roles as effectively as possible.
The Office of Rail and Road is the independent safety and economic regulator of Britains railways who now also hold Highways England to account for its day-to-day efficiency and performance, running the strategic road network, and for delivering the five year road investment strategy set by the Department for Transport (DfT).
ORR currently employs approximately 300 personnel and operates from 6 locations nationwide. The majority of personnel are located at ORRs headquarters, 25 Cabot Square, London.
