Head of Sales

Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw)

Office base Newcastle or London with regular national travel

Salary £55,000 - £60,000 pa plus up to 15% OTE based on teams sales performance plus car allowance of £5055 pa

As Head of Sales youll deliver our New Models of Care growth targets into the NHS, securing sales and ongoing partnerships of a financial value of up to 13 million life-time contract value per annum.  Youll be leading and inspiring our small sales team to generate sales that result in financially viable services in Home Group across mental health, learning disabilities and reablement (older people).  This is a unique opportunity to really make you mark shaping this brand new role, using commercial and market insights to develop innovative sales approaches, set stretching and viable growth targets and develop strategies to drive sales and ensure continued success. 

 

Working collaboratively with your team, youll build strong strategic partnerships with NHS trusts and commissioners, tracking performance on our schemes.  Youll ensure our portfolio is continuously reviewed to meet partners expectations, changing priorities and continues to deliver on our growth ambition.  Overall, youll ensure our contracts deliver both financial value and exceptional outcomes for our customers who live with us and receive our care. 

 

Youll report to Rachael, our Executive Director of New Models of Care who has 25 years experience in supported housing and an absolute passion for the art of the possible, actively integrating our services with health.  Rachael has overall responsibility for over 600 supported housing projects nationwide.  Outside of work youll find her busy as a trustee of Abbeyfield and CLINKS as well as an Editorial Advisor for Inside Housing magazine.

A bit about you

It goes without saying that youll have extensive sales experience in a comparable role having worked previously in health, housing or care.  Youll have a strong commercial skill set and understanding of the markets that we operate in.  Youll use this to inform strategies, develop long term relationships with NHS partners and to win new business.  Youll really impress us with your credibility in the sector, proven skills to lead accelerate growth, drive continuous improvements and innovation.  

 

Youll be a great people manager, have a win-win mentality and be able to unleash the potential of others, making it a great place to work for our colleagues.  Brilliant at motivating and leading your team through your own passion for sales, youll drive improvements and implement creative solutions to sell our services and ensure successful ongoing partnerships.  

 

The role will involve national travel so you must be willing to travel and work from other offices and locations throughout the UK.  Well need you have a current driving licence and access to a car and well pay you a car allowance.
