Waking Nights Support Worker

Hays Social Care are looking for a Waking Nights Support Worker within Lancaster.

Hays Social Care work with a range of services which offer varied shifts and hours. Our services which we work with include working with young adults who have mental health and learning difficulties or working with young adults who may have ASD (autism spectrum disorder) or even working in supported accommodation settings with gambling or homelessness services. Working for us, you will need to combine your professional experience and skills to work with young people to work with them on a day-to-day basis and to promote their independence.

You will need to be confident in working with children and young people and have a genuine desire to support the work of the permanent members of staff.

In this role you will be working waking nights and be responsible for providing care to the residents.

  • To be considered for Support Worker roles you must:

  • Have at least 6 months social care experience within the last 2 years
  • Be able to provide two references from your most recent employers.
  • Have experience working with adults in a residential setting or supported living with young people with learning difficulties, ASD, challenging behaviour, and mental health.
