Live-in Carer for Elderly Resident
Are you a compassionate, reliable, and flexible person who enjoys helping others? Do you have experience in providing personal care and household assistance to elderly people? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for this live-in carer position.
We are looking for a live-in carer to support an elderly resident in Southend, Essex. You will be responsible for assisting the resident with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, eating, medication, and mobility. You will also help with household chores such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping. You will provide companionship and emotional support to the resident and ensure their safety and wellbeing and build a close relationship with the resident to build trust.
The working pattern is two weeks on and two weeks off, with a salary of £750 per working week. You will have your own room and access to the resident's facilities. You will also receive training, support, and supervision from management.
To apply for this position, you must have:

A good command of English and excellent communication skills

A respectful, patient, and empathetic attitude

A willingness to learn and adapt to the resident's needs and preferences

A passion to work with vulnerable individuals

Experience working within the social care industry

To be able to commit to 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off

To have full right to work in the UK with a minimum of 2 years working UK experience.
