We need an IS Information Architect to help us understand the world in which we operate.  Figure out the valuable data from the distractors, learn where it lives and how we can best use it (all the while keeping information security in mind).  We want to become a data driven organisation, and we think you could help.  Youll be working in a small (but perfectly formed) team of IS Architects for Tom, our Architecture Team Lead.  He's a family man with terrible taste in both music and film (Mean Girls being a firm favourite).  He comes from a commercial background and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Home Group. He is responsible for leading the team and with you by his side... we think you'll do great things!

Working hours
Here at Home Group we believe flexibility works both ways. Our focus is on getting the job done, not your working hours! Its important to us that youre in the office so we can work collaboratively and share best practices amongst the team. However there will be times, when you might work from home to concentrate on a particular piece of work. Throughout its the teams unwritten rule that you attend the important appointments in life, be it your childs school play, your partners graduation, or to get your new fridge delivered. You can elect to fit these around your working day or use your flexi to take the time off.
 
About you
You lead by example and are comfortable working on a broad range of complex technical or professional activities, in a variety of contexts. Investigating, defining and resolving complex issues.
As a brilliant communicator you have a customer focused approach, and recognise the departments role as a service provider to the business. You ensure that a high quality service is underpinned by timely, appropriate and accurate communications
 
You excel at managing your stakeholders, be it in your awareness of their expectations and managing these or in helping them formally analyse their needs. You also thrive on keeping up to date and developments within your industry, and apply creative solutions to the benefit of your customers.
 
Technically, it would be great if you had the right certificates, however we appreciate that you might have the some great transferrable skills and the desire to work towards getting certified. Amongst some of the skills we are looking for are;- TOGAF 9 Certification (Level 1 and 2) or a BCS Practitioner in Enterprise and Solution Architecture, the ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate and an awareness of ISO27001 or other security standards.
