We have a brilliant opportunity for a Delivery Project Manager (known internally at Home Group as Delivery Manager) to join our award winning Development team.  Did you know were winners of the Housing Awards Development Programme of the Year 2018 and shortlisted for 2019?
 
Youll be managing our delivery programme for the South East region, managing projects from planning submission through to practical completion.  We have an ambitious target to deliver 10,000 homes and youll play a key role in supporting us to achieve this.  Youll also work closely and collaboratively with colleagues across Development, internal Finance and Legal teams, external partners and suppliers.
 
Amazing opportunities to work on a range of schemes from from low density rural housing to high density multi-storey city centre development. Youll be working across a number of sites delivering a variety of tenures and innovative design solutions, within our framework of contractors and consultants.  With a construction or house building background, youll have experience of managing projects client-side and managing a team of external consultants to deliver projects on our behalf. An understanding of construction forms of contract would be a real advantage.  
 
You'll report to Andrew, our Head of Delivery who was born and bred in Manchester, but has lived in London for over 20 years and still cannot believe that it doesnt rain there every day.  Andrew is passionate about delivering quality homes for our customers through brilliant design quality, on time and to budget.  If this your passion too, then youll really fit in here.

About you
Youll have experience in the delivery of high quality new homes on-site, delivering multi-site, complex residential-led development projects successfully.  With an in-depth understanding of the commercial aspects relating to housing development, youll have a good knowledge of the planning system and have previous experience in financial modelling.  If you have a proven background in planning, regeneration and development activity, including the procurement of contracting partners then this would be the icing on the cake (or should we say the sold sign on the door!).  Youll ideally be qualified or working towards a relevant professional qualification too.
 
Youll need to have a full current driving licence, access to a car along with business insurance cover so you can travel around our different sites. We'll pay you for your mileage.
