Housing Management Co-ordinator
Full Time 37.5 hr per week
Permanent
Salary of £17,600 to £23,500 pa

We support our brilliant customers who have varying needs including different stages of mental health problems,  those fleeing domestic abuse, learning difficulties and those who require support who may have had substance abuse issues. 

They live in mixed accommodation some self-contained and some with shared facilities dependent on the level of support they require.


Youll be our Housing and Property Guru! Focusing on tenancy support, youll provide a housing management service to our customers, supporting them to manage their tenancy and rent accounts.  Youll also help our customers with their housing benefit claims and making sure that these are received on their rent account.  Youll turn around vacant bed spaces so that new customers who need our help can move in quickly.  Youll also make sure our service achieves maximum occupancy, and that we are health and safety compliant!

About our team
Youll be working alongside our fabulous team who are super passionate about supporting customers to reach their goals and celebrating their achievements.  To us were not just a team were a work family. Our manager is Carl who has been with us for 6 years and has over 30 years of social housing experience. There are 6 of us in the team and we dont just love to support our customers, were there for each other too!

Working hours
Youll be working from 9-5 over 5 days per week for a total of 37.5 hours per week.

About you
Youre passionate and motivated to help vulnerable people make positive and lasting changes to their lives. Youll impress us with your ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.  

You will have some experience in safeguarding, risk assessments, confidentiality, support plans, alongside working collaboratively.


As Housing Management Coordinator you have experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties. You know all about re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed. Youre great at managing your own time and have strong written and verbal communication skills. 

To make sure that we keep our records straight, and customers safe, it's really important that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe!

It would be amazing if you have worked in this type of environment before, however its your €œcan do€ positive attitude and enthusiasm that are critical to make this role a success. We can nurture your talent, just let us know in your cover letter why you have a passion for working here!

As this is a community based role, you need to be able to drive, as well as having access to a car insured for business purposes. Dont worry, well pay you expenses to cover this use!

If you are successful, we need you to have an Enhanced Disclosure Check through the Disclosure and Barring Service which well pay for.
