We have a fantastic opportunity for a brilliant Supported Living Coordinator to join our great team, working regular waking night shifts at our mental health recovery services. Our CQC registered service provides support to our brilliant customers who have a range of mental health conditions. Our team support our customers within their homes, helping them gain independence and the skills needed to move forward in the right direction, across our properties in Exeter and Torquay.

Our customers are unique, and very different in their own ways and in how we support them, but they all have varying Mental Health support needs.

About our team
Our team describe themselves as really friendly and approachable. In fact when new members have joined us in the past, its been said that they felt welcomed by colleagues and our customers from day one! Were also super passionate about supporting customers. With colleagues as warm and team spirited as ours, were not just a team were a work family!

Many of our team have progressed their careers within Home Group. Becky is the Registered Manager for the service, and has worked here for six years. Adam, Geoff and Becky have all become managers having started in support roles. Our Clinical Lead, Ian has been with us for a few years too, and loves the transition hes made to join us from the NHS.

There are around 18 of us now in the team and we dont just love to support our customers, were there for each other too!

We are also investing in our teams clinical knowledge and experience, so when you join there is lots of scope for personal growth and development. But if you are happy doing your own thing then that is great too!

Working hours
We provide 24-hour support to our customers every day, so youll work on a rota basis and take your turn working weekends and bank holidays. We need you to be flexible to meet the needs of your customers, however we will be flexible too to find and agree a working pattern that suits all of our needs! In fact if you would rather work for us on a casual basis, we can help you with that too on our bank.

This role is for night owls - you will support our customers throughout the night, and will generally work from 7pm to 8am for 3 shifts per week.

It would also be amazing if you drive and have access to a car (we do pay you expenses to cover this use!), but it's not a deal breaker if you don't!

Bank
Looking for a more flexible working pattern? You can also join us on a flexible basis by being part of our bank. You can work hours that fit around your current commitments or even pick up some additional shifts to your main role to earn some extra cash and get paid on a weekly basis.

About you
Youre passionate and motivated. To you providing care and support is more than just a job, you make every customer feel valued and respected. Youre compassionate, and use your unique empathy and creativity skills to help our customers reach their full potential. Treating your customers with integrity, you ensure that they maintain their dignity at all times.

Youll help change our customers lives (and our services) for the better working with day staff on risk assessments and support planning. Youll support customers with their bespoke personalised support plans.  Each plan will look to meet our customers individual potential and long term goals, making sure they meet safeguarding and confidentiality requirements. Youll also have responsibility for coordinating other night support workers and working collaboratively with external agencies where relevant.

To make sure that we keep our records straight, and customers safe, it's really important that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe!)
