A friendly school in Somerset is looking for a primary school teacher, applications from ECTs are welcome.

Your new school
Afriendly and welcoming school in Bridgwater in the TA6 area is currentlylooking for a teacher to join their team. You will be joining a team of strongand supportive staff members dedicated to enable every pupil to flourish bothacademically and personally through setting high expectations of them in everycontext of their school life. The school's goal is to inspire a love oflearning, nurture positive emotional and social well-being to empower childrento be the best version of themselves.
Your new role
Starting after half term, you will be working across KS1 and KS2, working alongside anexperienced team of teaching assistants to deliver both ECT and PPA lessons.You will be in charge of covering a range of lessons, where you will beaccountable for ensuring that you deliver the school curriculum effectively.You will be provided with PPA time during the week, where you will be expectedto contribute to planning lesson content and assess pupil learning. This roleis suitable for a class teacher of all levels including ECTs, for those who aremore experienced a competitive wage is an option.
What you'll need to succeed

  • Have teaching experience within the last 5 years
  • Be confident in all year groups
  • Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status
  • Have a good sense of humour,
  • Work as part of a team effectively.
  • Good Knowledge of the English National Curriculum
