Salary £18,000 pa rising to £19,200 through length of service (pro-rata)
£9.00 per hour if youd prefer to work on our bank on a casual basis

We have fabulous opportunity for you to join our awesome team where we support our brilliant customers who are vulnerable young people with a variety of needs. They are aspiring but also very energetic, keeping us on our toes!

They live in two purpose built blocks of flats in Gloucester. We support our customers to live independently, keeping themselves safe and encourage them to take opportunities to grow. This might mean going with them to appointments, supporting them to understand house rules and Universal Credit. Every day is different and we regularly encounter new challenges to solve.

About our team

Youll be working alongside our fabulous team who are passionate about supporting customers to reach their goals and celebrating their achievements.  Our manager is Jana, who has been with Home Group for over nine years. She started with us in support roles but quickly worked her way through the ranks to her current management post. She loves to bake and regularly supplies our team with cakes and baked goods. 

There will be four of us in the team when you join us, and we dont just love to support our customers, were there for each other too! 

Working hours

Youll work on a rota basis taking your turn working days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. We need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you so Jana is always open to discussing the rota!

Bank

Looking for a more flexible working pattern? You can also join us on a flexible basis by being part of our bank.  You can work hours that fit around your current commitments or even pick up some additional shifts to your main role to earn some extra cash and get paid on a weekly basis.

About you

We help change our customers lives for the better. Youll play your part by assisting in the delivery of tasks that are based on our customers personal support plans, and their needs and aspirations. Youll work with our Senior Support Workers and external agencies to assess and engage support for our customers. We empower our customers to develop the independent living skills they need, to successfully move on. Together well make a difference!
 

If youre not the biggest fan of technology, thats not a problem to us. You do need to know that we are quite a high tech company and most of our application process and mandatory learning are online. However were glad to support you, if you need help.  

It would be amazing if you have worked in this type of environment before, however its your €œcan do€ positive attitude and enthusiasm that are critical to make this role a success. We can nurture your talent, just let us know in your cover letter why you have a passion for working here!
