The principal purpose of this role is to maintain the BMS system and offer technical advice related to BMS systems at various buildings within the Warton and Samlesbury sites. Additionally, the role involves handling Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance for HVAC systems, including diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults. The position spans across both Warton and Samlesbury sites, interacting with our client's disciplines and customers. Strong customer skills are essential.
Responsibilities include responding promptly to customer inquiries, promoting a collaborative FM team culture, driving energy cost reductions, and providing technical support for both the BMS and Energy Management System (EMS). Flexibility in working hours is necessary due to site operations, and occasional emergency site attendance may be required. Qualifications sought include at least three years' experience in a similar role, excellent knowledge of BMS systems (particularly Siemens & Schneider), and high-caliber HVAC skills and qualifications in air conditioning.
This role requires successful completion of a criminal records check at the basic disclosure level, along with five years of uninterrupted references. Additionally, possessing a valid driving license, excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills, and being a team player with a flexible working attitude are essential. The position may involve travelling to other sites, maintaining a smart appearance, and demonstrating the ability to sustain effective relationships while working under pressure. #
