Mental Health Practice Lead
Permanent
Full Time (37.5 hpw).  Brilliant work/life balance

Flexible base location, but covering our services in Aldershot and Basingstoke

We have a brilliant opportunity for you to join our Social Inclusion Pathways Services based in Aldershot and Basingstoke, which provide supported accommodation to our customers with complex support needs, requiring assistance with re-housing.  You also be working within our North Hampshire Mental Health pathway which provides support to our customers who have an enduring mental health diagnosis within an accommodation support setting. 

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, youll be developing our Support Workers to ensure that high quality individualised care is delivered which ensures safety, recovery, wellbeing and maximises customers independence.
 
As an experienced clinician, youll lead practice development by developing and delivering specialist training packages to our colleagues, embedding core competencies as well as oversight of clinical supervision.  Youll also be the point of contact for individual support and coaching of the Managers in our services.  Youll be really enhancing colleagues knowledge and skills, promoting regular, honest and supportive feedback.

Youll enable us to maintain high standards of support and intervention. 
 
On a day to day basis, youll report to Kiron our Operations Manager, with your clinical supervision provided by our clinical practice team.  Kiron and her teams are a real supportive bunch, really excited about you joining us and helping to develop our services. Hours of work are primarily 9am till 5pm but we can be flexible with this.  Occasionally, evening and weekend work may be required to meet the needs of our customers, but this will be minimal.  Actual days and times of work to be discussed at interview.

A bit about you
It goes without saying that youll be a Registered Mental Health Nurse and hold relevant professional qualifications. Youll have experience of working with young people and adults with ill mental health as well as managing, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating training to colleagues on an individual and group basis.
 
Youll have an eye for detail, being able to analyse complex data and make expert judgements. Youll really impress us with your ability to unleash the potential of colleagues through offering clinical advice, coaching, mentoring and training.  Youll also bring a creative spark and ability to understand where our customers are in their lives, using evidence based practice, care delivery and current occupational therapy based interventions. 
 
Will need you to travel and work between our services based in both Aldershot and Basingstoke either by public transport or your own car.  An Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service is required for this role and will be paid for by us.
