Salary £14,946 to £20,945 per annum - Pro Rata
 
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Scheme Manager to manage and live within our Leasehold Retirement scheme in Braintree, Essex. The scheme consists of 33, one and two bedroom bungalows for leaseholders aged 55 and over, with no communal buildings. Working from your bungalow you will ensure that the scheme is maintained to a high standard externally and that any Health and Safety issues are managed in a timely fashion. The general welfare of our residents is paramount and were looking for someone that will be able to deal with sensitive issues in a professional and compassionate manner to maintain a friendly community and ensure effective management of the development.
 
Youll join a supportive and friendly team and well provide you with accommodation on a rent free basis, however one of the two bedrooms in the bungalow is solely for use as an office.
 
Please note any offer of employment is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure check through the DBS the costs of which are met by Home Group.
 
About you
With previous relevant experience and knowledge of health and social issues affecting older people generally, you will be organised, have excellent communication skills and have the ability to make your own decisions effectively.
 
Youll be computer literate and have excellent budgetary, literacy and numeracy skills. We are looking for a social person who enjoys interacting with others and is passionate about providing excellent customer service.
