Full Time (37.5hpw), with time to study
£17, 598 per annum (£9.00 per hour) plus a fully funded LLB (hons) Degree in Legal Practice (so no Uni debt, yippee!)

So whats so great about our apprenticeships? Well, your wage will be way higher than the national apprenticeship minimum wage, so start planning what to spend that extra cash on! Youll be employed for six years as a degree level apprentice and will get stacks of experience to launch your career. The good news is that the majority of our apprentices go on to build brilliant and rewarding careers!
 
About the role                       
This is an amazing opportunity to work with our brilliant and experienced legal department, gaining practical, on the job training across a range of key legal areas whilst at the same time being supported to achieve a fully funded LLB (Hons) degree in Legal Practice and the Solicitor Qualifying Examination at Northumbria Universitys Law School.
Within our legal department we have seven teams! We have Commercial, Housing, Property and Development, Construction, Corporate and Data Protection teams, and youll have the chance to work across each of them, gaining fantastic breadth of knowledge and practical experience. The great news is by the time you complete your course youll be an expert in what they all do!
We are super passionate about developing our future talent and youll learn so much. Youll also have a mentor within the team, who will offer guidance and support.
Youll attend Northumbria University on a day release basis during term time, and get paid time to attend and study. Well even align your work projects and experience to complement course modules and your areas of legal interest.
 
While were legal professionals and take great pride in our work, its not all dry! Were a friendly, diverse and social bunch with a range of interests and skills. Robert is our marathon maniac who often does his 12 mile commute on foot! Carole is one of Home Groups longest serving colleagues with a full social calendar - when she isnt off on an exotic cruise! We often organise volunteering activities, some of the team recently renovated a garden for one of our customers. Our legal away days are a chance to see how Home Group operates on the front line or an opportunity to catch up with everyone socially. There is always something going on and we encourage everyone get involved!
 
Who were looking for
We need you to have (or be predicted to attain) 128-136 UCAS tariff points as well as a good GCSE profile including Maths and English Language at minimum grade C (numerical grade 4) or equivalent.
 
Youre passionate about developing your legal related knowledge and skills and the business experience that underpins this. Youll get all the support you need and in return we expect you to be proactive, self-disciplined and driven to succeed; so be prepared to impress us with your commitment and energy. Youre a confident communicator, able to build great working relationships and tech savvy too, we know youll be impressed with the technical kit we have on offer here.
