Permanent, Part Time (34.5 hours per week)
Salary £17,600 to £18,000 pa rising to £19200 through length of service [Pro-rated]
£9.00 per hour if youd prefer to work on our bank on a casual basis

We have a fantastic opportunity for a brilliant Supported Living Worker like you to join our fab and supportive team. Our Good Rated CQC registered service provides support to our brilliant customers who have Autistic learning difficulties within an accommodation support setting.
 
Youll be part of a team who support our customers to live their day to day lives as independently as possible.  As our waking night Support worker youll be supporting customers with personal care, such as bathing and issuing medication, ensuring all records are up to date, auditing customer files, and carrying out some light cleaning duties. Youll be working alone throughout your shift, offering customers a first point of call if required during the night.

Working hours
We provide 24-hour support to our customers each day and every day so youll be working on a rota covering Friday to Sunday. Youll be doing twilight shifts as youll be doing waking nights.   We need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you!
 
Bank
Looking for a more flexible working pattern? You can also join us on a flexible basis by being part of our bank.  You can work hours that fit around your current commitments or even pick up some additional shifts to your main role to earn some extra cash and get paid on a weekly basis.

Youre compassionate, and use your unique empathy and creativity skills to help our customers reach their full potential. Treating your customers with integrity, you ensure that they maintain their dignity at all times.
 
We help our customers to achieve their potential, long term goals and to live their best life. Youll play your part by assisting in the delivery of tasks that are based on our customers personal support plans. Youll work with our Lead Support Workers and external agencies to support our customers. You can see what its like to work in a service like this in this great video.
 
To make sure that we keep our records straight, and customers safe, it's really important that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe!)
 
To make sure our customers are well supported, its important that you have worked within a registered learning disabilities environment before. Youll have a great understanding of professional boundaries, responsibility for safeguarding, risk assessments, confidentiality and have experience in case management.  Dont worry, we wont drop you in the deep end, well help to you understand how things work at Home Group!
 
If you are successful, we need you to have an Enhanced Disclosure Check through the Disclosure and Barring Service which well pay for.
