The company:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company on the outskirts of Thetford in a challenging, progressive and rewarding Health & Safety Co-ordinator role.
Due to continuous expansion, the company is seeking an experienced Health and Safety professional to join their team on site and be involved in a wide range of projects both on the shop floor and within the back office, working with a wide range of Engineering and Manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Health & Safety Co-Ordinator

• Coach and support team members with training and risk assessments.
• Management and support of teams KPI's
• In the unlikely event of any accidents, you will assist in investigations, developing any required changes as part of the process.
• Support audits and audit preparation.

This is just a summed-up list, and other duties and responsibilities will be required.
Skills and Experience needed:

• Experience in a similar role within an FMCG or Manufacturing environment.
• Working towards or completing higher level safety qualifications i.e. level 6 NVQ or equivalent. Or a NEBOSH certificate
• Have a good understanding of ISO standards
• Able to manage own workload effectively.
