We have fabulous opportunity for you to join our awesome team where we support our brilliant customers who have a range of support needs, 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
They live in Clare House which is purpose built accommodations and support service for homeless customers with complex need. Its a great environment to work in and we have lots of facilities within the service including IT suite, gym, communal areas, allotment and lots more.
We are looking for a support worker that will deliver activity based learning working over 3 days a week, this can be flexible but needs to meet the needs of the customers and the service
We help our customers with tailored support plans around their individual needs, the ultimate goal is to find these customers permanent, safe and secure accommodation and be ready for the next stage of moving on independently.

About our team
Youll be working alongside our fabulous team who are super passionate about supporting customers to reach their goals and celebrating their achievements.  To us were not just a team were a work family. Our manager is Paula Loftus, shes worked for Home Group for 10 years. There are 17 of us in the team and we dont just love to support our customers, were there for each other too!
 
Working hours
We provide 24-hour support to our customers each day and every day. Youll work on a rota basis and take your turn working days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. We need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you!
 
About you
Youre passionate and motivated to help vulnerable people make positive and lasting changes to their lives. Youll impress us with your ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.  You will have some experience in safeguarding, risk assessments, confidentiality, support plans, alongside working collaboratively.
 
We help change our customers lives for the better. Youll play your part by assisting in the delivery of tasks that are based on our customers personal support plans, and their needs and aspirations. Youll work with our Senior Support Workers and external agencies to assess and engage support for our customers. We empower our customers to develop the independent living skills they need, to successfully move on. Together well make a difference!
 
To make sure that we keep our records straight, and customers safe, it's really important that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe!)
 
To make sure our customers are well supported, its important that you have worked in a supported environment before. Dont worry, we wont drop you in the deep end, well help to you understand how things work at Home Group!
 
If you are successful, we need you to have an Enhanced Disclosure Check through the Disclosure and Barring Service which well pay for.
