In this brilliant opportunity as a Senior Delivery Project Manager (known internally by us as Senior Delivery Manager), you'll be responsible for our new homes delivery programme, managing projects from planning submission through to practical completion.  We have an ambitious target to deliver 10,000 homes over 5 years and you will play a key role working as part of our award winning Development team to achieve this.
 
Youll be leading a team of Delivery Managers working across a number of sites across London and the South East delivering a variety of tenures and innovative design solutions with our framework contractors and consultants.  As we are growing, youll be involved in recruiting new team members and will also work closely and collaboratively with our Development colleagues, internal Finance and Legal teams as well as external partners and suppliers.
 
You'll report to Andrew, our Head of Delivery who was born and bred in Manchester, but has lived in London for over 20 years and still cannot believe that it doesnt rain there every day.  (Sound!)  Andrew is passionate about delivering quality homes for our customers through brilliant design quality, on time and to budget.  If this your passion too, then youll really fit in here.

A bit about you
 
Youll impress us with your in-depth understanding of the commercial aspects relating to housing development, along with your knowledge of the planning system and experience in implementing compliant and approved schemes.  A must is a proven track record in delivering multi-site residential-led development projects, along with delivering complex mixed-tenure sites of scale successfully. You will be a great leader and provide effective and engaging communication with both colleagues and external teams.
 
Holding a relevant professional qualification or equivalent, youll be able to demonstrate experience in the delivery of high quality new homes on-site in both affordable housing and housing for private sale, including the procurement of contracting partners.  Experience of financial modelling is a key part of the role as is experience of managing projects client-side and managing a team of external consultants to deliver projects on our behalf.
